project description:
I wanted to initiate an experience where everyone in my New Genres class participated in creating a party for our last class. I wanted to touch on the hidden labor and the absurdity of our modern life like, when we can get an individually wrapped onion shipped from another country.

Each station had different positions and each participant was given an instruction booklet for detailing their job descriptions and tasks. There were 4 cameras connected to the monitors to record 4 assembly line stations. Each participant was randomly chosen for each task. The person behind the camera was instructed to capture just the working hands but the results were all different.
